Scribunto

[szerkesztés]

I would be very much interested in using it, and I know some other people would be, too. --Tgrvita 2013. február 2., 09:42 (CET)Válasz

Alig várom, hogy legyenek már változók a sablonokban, erre nagy szükség van! / I can hardly wait for variables to be available in templates, this is a much-needed move! Oliv0 vita 2013. február 2., 11:35 (CET)Válasz
Thank you guys for your feedback! That is great you are interested! Ok, I will talk back to WMF to see how and when can we push Scribunto to you! Please watch this talk page as I will give give you an update here as soon as I have some new info. Regards, --Kozuch vita 2013. február 2., 12:11 (CET)Válasz
Thanks in advance! It will be indeed great to be able to use Lua, modifying stuff like citation templates is a serious threat to sanity presently :) --Tgrvita 2013. február 2., 13:06 (CET)Válasz

Scribunto extension roll out planned for February 18

[szerkesztés]

Wikimedia Foundation has been working on improving the performance and adding features to template pages within MediaWiki. As a result of this WMF developed a new Scribunto extension for MediaWiki which enables Lua scripting language for templates. The developers are confident about the extension's maturity and it was decided that Scribunto is going to be deployed to this wiki in the first batch. The deployment will begin on February 18 and will simply add a feature. Please be so kind and spread the word about the deployment on your wiki. If you are interested in converting current templates to Lua, please see more information and submit your feedback to Lua page on Meta. Regards, Kozuch vita 2013. február 13., 18:58 (CET)Válasz
