A Dasyrhynchus pacificus a galandférgek (Cestoda) osztályának a Trypanorhyncha rendjébe, ezen belül a Lacistorhynchidae családjába tartozó faj.

A Dasyrhynchus pacificus tengeri galandféregfaj. A sötétcápa (Carcharhinus obscurus) egyik fő belső élősködője.[1]
