Dave Marsh (Detroit, 1950. március 1. –) amerikai zenekritikus. Társalapítója volt Detroitban a Creem magazinnak, később pedig a Rolling Stone, a Newsday és a Village Voice munkatársa volt. 1985 és 2002 között a Playboyban írt zenekritikákat. Újságírói munkája mellett könyveket is ír, eddig több mint húsz kötete jelent meg, és szerkesztője volt a Rolling Stone Album Guide különböző kiadásainak. Íróként legfőképpen Bruce Springsteen életrajzírójaként ismert, az első róla írt könyve, az 1979-es Born to Run bestseller lett. A punk kifejezést Marsh használta először a Creem lapjain a ? and the Mysterians együttes jellemzésére.
