Română: Descrierea stemei

Stema comunei Gurghiu, potrivit anexei nr. 1.4, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, cu șapa albastră, încărcată cu un zid de cetate de argint, cu poarta neagră pe o movilă verde; movila din vârful scutului este tăiată de un brâu undat de argint. În dreapta, în câmp de roșu, se află patru narcise cu frunze, de aur. În stânga, în câmp roșu, se află două ghinde cu frunze de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate:

Zidul de cetate reprezintă Cetatea Gurghiului. Narcisele semnifică Poiana de narcise din localitate, declarată monument al naturii. Ghindele reprezintă stejarii seculari vechi de 700 de ani din pădurea Mociar. Brâul undat reprezintă râul Gurghiu. Movila verde face trimitere la numele localității, gurgui, care înseamnă movilă. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
