Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Brebu Nou, potrivit anexei nr. 1.4, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, de culoare verde, tăiat de trei fascii undate înguste, de argint, şi o bandă roşie, în căprior.În partea superioară, spre dreapta, se află un lup de argint.Pe banda roşie se află trei flori de colţ, din argint cu roşu.În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un coş cu mâner şi două panglici, pe stativ, totul de aur.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:Lupul dă numele vechi al localităţii Gărâna (Wolfsberg - Dealul Lupului).Cele trei fascii undate reprezintă staţiunea Trei Ape.Florile de colţ atestă frumuseţea reliefului muntos.Coşul reprezintă instrumentul de transport indispensabil şi popular.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
