Stema comunei Părău se compune, dintr-un scut triunghiular, cu marginile rotunjite, albastru, cu felon roșu încărcat de o biserică văzută frontal, cu acoperiș în două ape și două turnulețe care încadrează zidul, precum și cu un turn dreptunghiular deasupra întrării, rotunjit și subțiat în treimea sa superioară, cu acoperișul țuguiat terminat cu o cruce, cu intrare în biserică și trei ferestre dispuse vertical, dintre care cea inferioară este mai mică decât celelalte.

Pe culoarea albastră, la dreapta felonului, se află o crenguță de stejar de aur, iar la stânga, se află un cap de cerb din același metal.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Crenguța de stejar simbolizează bogăția silvică a zonei. Biserica face trimitere la lăcașul sfânt din satul Părău, construită în perioada 1878 – 1882, aceasta fiind a doua ca mărime din județul Brașov, după Biserica Neagră. Capul de cerb simbolizează bogăția cinegetică a zonei.

Coroana murală, cu un turn crenelat, reprezintă rangul administrativ al localității, cel de comună.
