Stema comunei Bogdand se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat și despicat în partea superioară.

În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roșu se află un ciorchine de struguri de aur.

În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp verde se află un cap de berbec văzut din lateral, îndreptat spre stânga, de argint.

În vârful scutului, în câmp de argint, se află o terasă verde, cu un pom, tot verde.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un singur turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Ciorchinele de struguri face aluzie la una dintre ocupațiile tradiționale ale locuitorilor – viticultura.

Trofeul de berbec face referire la o altă ocupație specifică zonei – creșterea animalelor.

Terasa și pomul fac aluzie la așezarea localității într-o zonă deluroasă, împădurită.

Coroana murală cu un singur turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
