Italiano: Durante la stagione secca gli animali si radunano vicino alle pozze d'acqua (alcune delle quali artificiali). Nella foto vengono ritratti due leoni, un maschio ed una femmina in coppia. Il comportamento ritratto in questa foto evidenzia la demarcazione del territorio da parte dei leoni nei confronti degli altri in animali che a loro volta, in funzione della loro forza e della priorità acquisita nella conquista del territorio, si posizionano per linee. L'Oryx in questo caso, subito primo delle zebre. Una metafora assai eloquente anche del mondo umano in cui prevale la forza e il potere sulle risorse comuni.
English: During the dry season the animals congregate near the pools of water (some of which are artificial). In the photo two lions are portrayed, a male and a female in pairs. The behavior portrayed in this photo highlights the demarcation of the territory by the lions towards the others in animals which in turn, according to their strength and the priority acquired in the conquest of the territory, are positioned by lines. The Oryx in this case, immediately first of the zebras. A very eloquent metaphor also of the human world in which force and power prevail over common resources. |
