Zoltan Peresztegi is an economist and a serial technological entrepreneur born in Budapest, Hungary. The online professional currently residing and working in Los Angeles, California is most known for having been the first employee of Google in his home country, Hungary. He founded and led Google's office in Budapest from 2006 to 2009. Later he founded Hungary's market-leading consumer-to-consumer digital marketplace, Jofogas.hu. Based on the quick success of Mr. Peresztegi and his team, he was invited to join the global management group of Schibsted Classified Media, currently called Adevinta, one of the largest operators of digital marketplaces globally. Based out of Barcelona, Spain, he was in charge of Schibsted's operations in Hungary, Portugal, Belgium, and Morocco. As part of a reorganization, Mr. Peresztegi was leading Schibsted Classified Media's global efforts on Product Development, Marketing, Analytics, and Innovation as Senior Vice President of Users and Products.

Mr. Peresztegi moved to California in 2016, where he co-founded a B2B SaaS company in the software development intelligence space. As the CEO of Gitential, Mr. Peresztegi helped developer teams gain more transparency into their development processes and increase their efficiency. After an early exit from his startup, Mr. Peresztegi co-founded TrueSource, a data monetization platform for data providers, a VC-backed tech startup.
