Potrivit anexei nr. 1.5, stema comunei Viişoara se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite, încărcat cu un chevron micşorat şi coborât, de argint. În partea superioară se află un cap de bivol, văzut din faţă, iar în vârful scutului, pe o frunză de viţă-de-vie, de aur, se află un vas roşu. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate Capul de bivol reprezintă una dintre ocupaţiile locuitorilor, zootehnia. De asemenea, bivolul alb este o raritate specifică zonei. Frunza de viţă-de-vie dă denumirea localităţii, iar vasul reprezintă situl arheologic din zonă şi o altă ocupaţie a locuitorilor, olăritul. Chevronul de argint simbolizează forma de relief şi apele zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
