Coat of arms of Drăgănești, Romania (from ro.wiki: Acvila bicefală face trimitere la blazonul familiei Cantacuzino, familie ale cărei destine sunt strâns legate de localitate.

Crucea aminteşte de existenţa monumentului istoric Crucea de la Şoplea, ridicat în anul 1655 în urma bătăliei dintre voievodul Radu Şerban şi seimenii răsculaţi. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.)

(from ro.wiki: Stema comunei Drăgăneşti, potrivit anexei nr. 1.1 din Hotărârea de Guvern numărul 1184/2005, publicată în Monitorul Oficial al României numărul 904 din 10 octombrie 2005, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp auriu, se află o acvilă bicefală neagră, ieşind. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o cruce simplă de argint, aşezată pe o terasă boltită, de culoare roşie. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.)

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
